About the Role

We are looking for a Data Administrator to support our Quarterly Reporting Process. The role will focus on preparing report templates, applying defined business rules, validating metrics, and ensuring accurate report generation and storage. This is a detail-oriented role, ideal for someone comfortable with structured data work, report preparation, and close adherence to documented guidelines.

In addition to the quarterly reporting cycle, there will be other operational and analytical tasks assigned based on business needs, such as ad-hoc data validations, small reporting updates, or supporting cross-team documentation efforts.

Please note that this is a contract-based role and, as such, includes hourly compensation only. The role is remote but must be based in the Philippines. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Understand the Business Context: One of the most important skills – this role requires you to understand what has happened in the last quarter & how it relates to various factors that are internal business dynamics and external market factors.
  • Template Preparation & Report Generation: Use Tableau & Looker Studio to generate reports. Apply business rules various user models (as per reporting guidelines).
  • Communicate with Stakeholder & Context Integration: Add contextual notes (from CS, Sales, Product) into the reports when provided. Apply prioritization guidance from the CS team.
  • Quality Assurance: Validate key metrics & flag anomalies or inconsistencies for review before finalization.
  • Report Storage & Organization: To have easily traceable steps when someone wants to look into the generation process of each report

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with data reports — specifically in Excel/Google Sheets and dashboarding tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, or similar).
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills, including formulas, cross-checks, and comfort working with structured templates.
  • Prior experience in a business setup where you’ve been interested in & thrived understanding the business and the market it operates in 
  • Ability to transform the numbers into business context storylines & have observations about usage data.
  • Strong written documentation skills to log assumptions, adjustments, and version history.

 

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Familiarity with subscription/revenue models (MRR, Rev Share, Upsell vs Subscription revenue).
  • Experience preparing client-facing reports.

 

Soft Skills

  • Comfortable working offshore in an asynchronous environment.
  • Able to ask clarifying questions when guidelines are ambiguous.
  • Highly organized and process-driven

 

Success Criteria

  • Reports are completed on time each quarter.
  • Reports are stored and linked correctly for easy stakeholder access.
  • Clear documentations & error free reports
