About the Role
We are building a state-of-the-art finance organization for a complex and exciting business model. As CFO, you will own everything finance at TULU — from strategic company decisions, budgets and financial projections to unit economics, profitability, consolidated financial statements and financing solutions.
You will manage multiple entities across the US, Europe, and Israel, coordinate with external service providers, and play a key role in strategic initiatives. You will work closely with the CEO, help design and join board meetings, and have the opportunity to lead a B2B2C business with multiple customers, hardware financing solutions, subscription-based consumer models, global operations, and complex tax considerations — making a direct impact on our rapid global expansion.
Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management
- Oversee per-building unit economics and profitability
- Develop and maintain tracking tools for revenue performance and operational efficiency KPIs
- Manage all financial reporting, month-end close, and compliance
- Supervise billing, collections, revenue recognition, and legal finance matters
- Partner with auditors, tax advisors, and external service providers
- Own ESOP and equity management
- Lead and grow the finance team as the company scales
- Drive projects, implement systems, and optimize processes
- Serve as a strategic partner to leadership, providing insights and financial guidance to shape company strategy

Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant experience in fast-paced environments, preferably startups
- CPA with Big 4 experience; high-tech industry preferred
- Budget planning and monitoring experience
- Proficient in US GAAP and financial reporting
- Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP, CRM, and BI/AI tools
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-changing environment
- Exceptional business partnering skills; ability to work cross-functionally at all levels
- Strong analytical, communication, and strategic thinking skills
- Positive, hands-on, proactive approach to problem-solving
- Inventory management tools and processes background (bonus)
- Experience managing outsourced services globally (bonus)
- Background in the retail space and/or consumer goods (bonus)
This position is based in our New York City headquarters.

Compensation
Our annual OTE range for this role is $200,000 – $300,000. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
